As it completes Indiana's most aggressive brownfield remediation programs, South Bend is powering its local economy with academic research and emerging technologies through a strong partnership with the University of Notre Dame. On the heels of an award-winning neighborhood revitalization effort (Eddy Street Commons), the City and University are moving forward with Indiana's first two-site, state-certified technology park - Innovation Park at Notre Dame and Ignition Park, on a former brownfield site.
